Committee work is a key component of American Association of Mediators member engagement. Committees will advise the American Association of Mediators Board of Directors, Executive Committee and staff on issues and matters central to the American Association of Mediators community.
FINANCE COMMITTEE
This is a chance to apply your experience and energy to some fundamental tasks keeping our American Association of Mediators community on solid financial ground. You will help to oversee current and future financial strategies, monitor the flow of funds in and out, help manage the plans for how to best secure the Association’s assets and keep the Board informed about the state of American Association of Mediators’s financial health.
MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
This committee will address issues important to members and review membership criteria. You will also oversee credentialing, develop projects to inform the wider public about American Association of Mediators and work to enhance the value of American Association of Mediators membership, rewarding our current members and encouraging new members to apply.
STANDARDS & ETHICS COMMITTEE
These committee members promote and maintain a high standard of conduct by American Association of Mediators members and safeguard the significant value of American Association of Mediators membership. Ensuring member compliance with the Model Standards of Conduct and resolving conduct-related complaints is an important and rewarding opportunity for you participate more in American Association of Mediators.
EDUCATION & PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
Members of this committee will cooperate in the planning and delivery of various programs to stimulate discussion and educate American Association of Mediators members about current developments in our field and to improve, promote and advance the profession. Trainings, newsletters, list-serve and other avenues can give this committee a powerful impact on the life and success of American Association of Mediators.
